Privacy policy

This policy covers the Poppan game on iPhone and Android. It is short, because Poppan collects nothing.

Who we are

Poppan is made by Deacon Corn Soft. We are responsible for this policy. For anything about your privacy, write to privacy@deaconcornsoft.net.

What stays on your device

Poppan has no account and no sign-in. Your progress (coins, the flavours and looks you have earned) and your settings are stored only on your device, in the game’s own storage. We never receive them.

What we collect

Nothing. Poppan shows no ads and has no analytics, and today it has no online play: you play against bots on your phone. It sends no data about you or your device to us or to anyone else.

Playtest recordings

While we build the game, we test it on our own computers with a playtest tool that can record matches. That tool is for development only: it is not part of the game you download, and its recordings stay on the computer they were made on.

Crash reports

If you have chosen to share analytics with Apple or Google, they may pass anonymous crash reports on to us under their own privacy policies. We use them only to fix bugs. You can switch this off in your phone’s privacy settings.

Your choices

Deleting the game deletes everything it stored on your device. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to correct or delete; if you have a question anyway, write to privacy@deaconcornsoft.net and we answer within 30 days.

Children

Poppan collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If Poppan ever adds online play or anything else that involves your data, this policy changes first, and the date at the top changes with it. Our general website policy is here.
